Saying no to Gay Marriage

Being a believer in the equal rights of the LGBTs, I believe that gay marriage is one of those totally radical social changes that the Philippines can implement. The Communist Party already allows same-sex marriage and is one of the most far-out agendas they endorse. An agenda which is felt so acutely in a society so conservative.

As a debater, however, that requires to twist meanings and words for the pursuit of victory the onus is upon us debaters to twist any argument any which way it is given to us. Yesterday I was tasked with saying no to gay marriage. We failed.

But if there’s one thing grainy video cameras give us, it is to record fidgety performance. Mine specifically.

I keep raising my eyebrows.
