It’s no secret that population pressures drive our edible sea-life into near-extinction. With an ever-increasing diet of seafood, the world market is competing with depleting resources of fish. Which is bad news for Filipinos, who are now eating more fish than nature can sustain-ably produce in our own archipelago. Which just goes to show you that there is a deep need for governments across the world (and most especially ours) to curb growth rates. No offense to Gabriela, but inserting “population control” provisions into the existing RH bill is necessary. Preferably before SM sells the entire endangered species list into the way of the dodo.
