Kimlawis is a mountain village in Kiblawan. The place feels like a wonderful resort. Except for the casual“pangayaw” from time to time it has a refreshing atmosphere. If you have free time and want to get away from it all you should come and visit. It’s not as bad as it used to be.1

The place was once a haven for bandits and marijuana growers. Now since SMI came along the once fertile “high” ground is secure for business. We came today to visit the house of the barangay captain. As usual artery-clogging food, beer and chit-chat. Thankfully, nothing happened on the road.

The author would like to thank XSTRATA-SMI for their free ride. Although a donation of a free laptop would be nice. 😀
